Other sites I've coded. Unless otherwise marked, they're here on Neocities.
The Scranton Tribune - A fan site for The Office, framed as an in-universe newspaper. Features include a colorscheme reminiscent of an actual hometown newspaper site & a website hierarchy carefully designed to be as incompetent as possible.
ETA Pod - In my sophmore year, I took a class called "Audio Storytelling" with the cool young English professor who I wanted, badly, to impress. I called it "Podcast Class." I coded the ETA Pod website for Podcast Class, the final project for which was three podcast episodes on any subject of our choosing. At the time, I was determined that ETA should get a following in its own right, and spent a lot of energy on digitally marketing it, making it as good as possible, etc etc etc.
If you've already clicked the link, you'll know that there are two episodes of ETA. I burned out, never finished the last episode, and failed the class. Not one to be deterred, I took another class with the same professor, and my [much improved] performance in that class lead to an independent study where she helped me develop my manuscript, and a lasting friendship to boot. NEVER give up <3
Dead Horse Press [external] - several writer friends and I decided that we couldn't write frequently enough to maintain our own Substacks, but together, we could post with some frequency. We currently publish on a bimonthly basis.
